Refunds will be given for new/unused or defective items only. Custom jigs and custom blanks are non refundable unless we have made a mistake on the production side. Please see our Warranty Page for more info.

All jigs are made with tight tolerances. Although all precautions are taken to produce exact dimensions, we do ask for an allowance of +-.05%.
Overseas orders: Tracking doesn’t always work well with overseas carriers and sometimes makes it impossible to track the shipment. Orders can get hung up in customs for a long time which is out of our hands. Overseas and “out of US” orders are considered as “buyer assumes risk” orders. Damage by carrier during transit is the buyers responsibility. This does not include tools or blanks with a manufacture defect. Packages are insured by us, for loss or damage, UNTIL it leaves the US. Once a package leaves the US, it becomes insured by the carrier of your country. If an order is lost, it is up to our discretion, to send replacement items before an insurance claim is paid or after the claim is paid out. In the event the claim is not paid, buyer assumes all risk in trying to receive the insurance claim from the carrier. If you want to place another order we will refund the original order IF the insurance claim is paid to us.
Cancellation: Pintail Waterfowl reserves the right to cancel and refund any order at any time, for any reason. A few examples are instances of incorrect pricing, incorrect product listing, unavailability of parts, addresses that are undeliverable. The customer may cancel any order prior to shipping. Custom blank orders can be cancelled but will be subject to a 20% reduced refund. Custom jigs cannot be cancelled once the jig is in process. Period.
For blanks broken during shipping, it is up to our discretion to ship replacement blanks, unless you have another order being placed shortly and wish it to ship with that order. YOU MUST NOTIFY US WITHIN 10 DAYS OF RECEIPT. We will offer a refund for the amount of the blank through PayPal or we can offer a store credit plus 10% of the cost of the broken blank. A picture must be provided showing the blank broken and unused.

Shipping: All orders are shipped USPS Priority with tracking and insurance. Most packages take 2-4 days in the US. We have had orders arrive after 14 days, so sometimes you just have to be patient. We will provide tracking on request, but we do not work for the post office. We are not able to see any more information that the tracking number shows you. You are welcome to contact USPS to find out where your order is at. An order cannot be deemed lost until after 15 days from the shipping date. We cannot start an insurance claim until at least 15 days after the shipping date.
